Are you ready to double your annual renewal income?

At Piedmont, we are always listening to our customers and striving to create new value for you.  With that in mind, we’re introducing Piedmont’s new AGENT SERVICE FEE option!  This is a new way for you to generate additional income with every policyholder sale handled through Piedmont.

Let’s face it.  Whether it is traditional payroll deduction or Piedmont’s zero-bill model, there is work to be done on behalf of the agent in terms of servicing the case and policyholder past the sale. We believe you should be compensated for this.

In short, you get paid once to sell insurance. Now you get paid a second time when you use Piedmont’s premium payment processing with that insurance sell, significantly increasing your profitability per policyholder.

This new Agent Service Fee solution follows the “Trojan Horse” sales model; where you sell one product for the right to sell a second (more profitable product).  Think about it.  Theaters sell movies for the right to sell you popcorn and a Coke.  Cruise lines sell cruises for the right to sell you drink packages, onboard casinos, and shore excursions.  The first sale sets the environment, the second sale actually makes the endeavor profitable.  In the Piedmont model, you are selling insurance, which sets up the environment for the second sale, processing services.

Do the math, if you sell an accident plan at $400 with a renewal rate of 5%; your renewal commission is $20.  But by using Piedmont’s services (and electing even just a $2 Agent Service Fee option), you would make an additional $24 in income every year.  You make more in service fees than renewal commissions.  In this example, it equates to a 120% increase in income from that policyholder client!  Make the most of each sales opportunity and get paid twice for each policyholder sale!

So here’s how it works:  When you set up a new case, you have the option of choosing between $1 to $3 in pepm for your Agent Service Fee.  This amount will be built into the Piedmont billing system and collected on your behalf.  In addition, you may elect to split the Agent Service fee amount among up to three people.  Perhaps you are working on the case with a fellow agent or decide to split with your hierarchy or per diem enrollers.

That’s it.  Once in place, Piedmont will remit your service fees monthly to the account designated by.

And the service fee income stream continues as long as you are still appointed with the carrier placed.

At Piedmont, we pride ourselves on constantly innovating our technology and providing ways to enhance your agency profitability in 2020!  Make the decision to increase your profitability now by using Piedmont’s new Agent Service Fee option.
